Having been
retired for 20 years, after 33 years at Lockheed Missile and Space Company, Port
Canaveral, Florida, I remember the pleasure of having worked with the best-of-the-best aerospace company! We were a small group, approximately 300 people,
but we worked on some of the most important projects of the Cold War: the
Polaris, Poseidon and Trident missile systems. It was great being at the front
of our national defense. I still dream of the many co-workers who have since
passed away.
