In the 1930s, my great-grandfather started our family history at Lockheed Martin. He designed the cockpit for the Spirit of St Louis, and he had personal experience working with "Lucky Lindy's" modified Lockheed Sirius. My grandfather flew the Martin B-26 in World War, fighting Rommel in North Africa. Later, he worked with Hughes Aerospace in the design of the Surveyor probe to land on the Moon in 1966. My experience with Lockheed Martin is just starting as a senior systems engineer. As a new employee, I hope to live up to the family legacy!
I'm proud to follow in my great-grandfather's footsteps! |
