I worked as an electronic engineering
technician in Astro Space Division of Lockheed Martin. I was assigned to work
in the Inmarsat-3 program. The assembly and testing of the satellite was at the
Lockheed Martin facility in East Windsor, New Jersey. After testing, I was
fortunate to be able to go to the launch location for final testing. I went to
all three launch facilities—Cape Canaveral (Florida), Guiana Space Center
(French Guiana) and Baikonur (Kazakhstan).
