I learned important values at
Lockheed
by Carol L.
I started working at Lockheed Missile and Space Division in Sunnyvale
in April 1959. I was 18 years of age. I started in blueprint files, then
material planning and material checking. I worked in Buildings 102, NIROP, 151,
152, 153 and 126. I became a lead at the age of 21. Lockheed gave me the chance
to learn, promote and realize the importance of a work ethic. That core value
helped me throughout my career. I was laid off in June 1970. I still claim that
Lockheed was the best place I ever worked, and I am grateful that I started my
career there.
