"Radical" Innovation

We were part of aviation history
by Michael M.

I was hired by Lockheed in Burbank, California, in April 1962.I worked at Skunk Works for the first eight years of my career and was fortunate to work on the SR-71 and U-2. I also worked on the L-1011 and S-3A while in Burbank. I transferred to Palmdale in 1975, working on the L-1011, C-5B and P-3 while at Plant 10. During last 19 years of my career, I worked at Plant 42 on the F-117. I retired in September 2008 after more than 46 years. I am thankful for all the good years with Lockheed Martin and all the great people with whom I was able to work. Thanks for the memories!
