After graduating in 1968 from the University
of Minnesota Institute of Technology, I went to work for Sperry Univac as an
engineer. (Univac was a Lockheed Martin heritage company.) My career took me
all over the world with many unforgettable experiences. My most recent
experience before my retirement was the pursuit and award of the Air
Sovereignty Operations Center (ASOC) program, which provided military air
surveillance capability for 10 of the former Soviet satellite countries.
