Operation Camouflage

My dad help disguise a strategic military facility
by Alan H.

In the early 1940s, my father was working in Glendale, California, as a freelance visual artist. I can remember him being very secretive about a project he was working. Only much later (around 1995 while I was working in Ft Worth), he told me he had helped design the pattern for the overhead camouflage for Lockheed's Burbank plant. He waited about 50 years to tell me!
