During the initial production phase of the
Vertical Launching System (VLS), I was hired as a labor grade one final
assembly inspector. A few years later, I transferred into the test department
as a senior tester (non-destruct). Throughout my employment at Middle River, I
worked most of the inspection stations and most of the test stations for the VLS
production and depot support. I watched executives climb and shook hands with
some politicians. My greatest pride was in providing excellent products for our
customers. Thank you for that opportunity!
