Bomber Plant Synchronicity
Without Lockheed Martin, there would be no “me”
by Jim F.
As war raged across
Europe, like many non-military men in America, my father went to work as a
riveter in the "Bomber Plant" as it was generally known then. While
lying on his back one day, busily riveting the underside of a B-36 panel, he
saw what he later described as the "most
beautiful legs I have ever seen" walking past. He slid out, stood up
and introduced himself to the lovely lady who two years later, became my mother.
Were it not for you, there would be no "me."
