I am currently retired, but I loved my
career with Lockheed Martin. My last few years were primarily
"process" driven, but with a focus that took advantage of 30+ years
of software engineering and systems. There were many projects across all business
units within Lockheed Martin that contributed to best-practices that I helped
to consolidate and implement. It was also very rewarding to bring work back to
areas that had "extra" developers from areas that had
"overworked" ones, enabling programs to meet their schedule,
technical and cost commitments.
