I sold Atlas launch services to NASA and
NOAA. It was a great experience to visit NASA Centers, such as the Jet
Propulsion Laboratory, Goddard and Lewis (now the Glenn Research Center). It
was amazing to see plans being laid to study the Earth's atmosphere and to visit other
planets using satellites launched on the Atlas rocket. Later, it was very
satisfying to see the pictures of Earth and other planets, knowing that the
satellites that took these photos had been launched by our Atlas rocket.
