Soaring with Lockheed and Kelly Johnson

Lockheed hired me in 1950
by Jack R.

I was hired at Lockheed as a metal fitter in 1950, working at Plant B-1. I was then sent to A-1 in the machine shop. I worked as a milling machinist and as a drill press machinist before receiving my security clearance, and going to work for Kelly Johnson (Skunk Works). I was there for nine years and worked on parts for the SR-71 titanium. I also worked on missile launch parts for space vehicles before I retired. I am now 93 years old.

This map dates back to the 1950s.
