I worked at General Dynamics for 32 years.
My father, my two brothers and my sister all worked at heritage companies
during the 1950s through the 1990s. My father was hired by Consolidated
Aircraft Corporation in the 1940s and continued with General Dynamics into the 1980s.
My father rented a cottage close to the “beer hall” which was a VFW near the
lake before they extended the runway. I was born in 1945 while in this cottage
and can claim, “I was born on the
reservation and worked until retirement.”
