My Aerospace Career Began a Half-Century Ago

I retired from Lockheed Martin in 1999
by Melvin H.

I started my career at Remington Rand Univac in 1963. I spent 36 years with the heritage companies, and retired from Lockheed Martin in 1999. I was a principal software engineer in the defense area. My notable projects included P-3C, Apollo, Canadian Patrol Frigate, Australian Navy command and control upgrade and the Trident submarine. My business travels took me to California, Australia, Canada and Vienna, Austria, and many places across America.

Lockheed Martin was a great company to work for, and I enjoyed my time and all the people with whom I worked.
