Can you imagine meeting the pilots of the Thunderbirds! After all, they
were flying the planes that I helped build. And where I lived, and still do, was
in the flight line. To this day, I remain grateful for the opportunity to work at
Fort Worth. It is part of a tradition. I have a photo my grandfather, E.C. Meek,
with soldiers during World War II and his layoff paperwork as well, from the slowdown right
after the war.
Working on the flight line is a proud family tradition.
