I joined Lockheed at the age of 18 in
1967. I hired in at $1.65 an hour to working on the C-5A Galaxy. Within a few
months, I received my draft notice for the Vietnam War. I contacted Lockheed
with the news and received my job back with top pay when I was released from
the military. Since then, I have worked on the TR-1, the Blackbird, the P-3
Orion and the L-1011 TriStar passenger plane. I treasure all those years and
relationships to this day.
