I flew the P-38 over North Africa and Italy from 1942 to 1945. I loved that airplane! I spent 25 years with the United States Air Force in fighters. I retired from military service and came to work at Lockheed-Georgia, a fine company with great people putting out top-of-the-line products. I enjoyed 20 years as industrial safety manager for a real top-of-the-line company.
