Celebrating First Steps

Young and old, we shared in the excitement

After working five years at Lockheed Missiles and Space Company on the NASA Agena programs, I was transferred to Lockheed in Houston, Texas. At the Johnson Space Center, I managed the programmers responsible for supporting the Apollo program. They were young and fresh from college and so dedicated to the program’s success. We all shared in the excitement of the Apollo moon landing.
