I made $2.32 an hour and loved my work

I started work at the Marietta, Georgia, plant in 1963 as a machinist
making $2.32 per hour. I made parts for the C-130, C-141, C-5, L-1011 and the
JetStar. I met a lot of wonderful people and made many friends. Those were the “good
old days.”
